I am safe and sound (and warm and dry!) here in Atlanta, ready for OnStage tomorrow.
BUT today, I am able to attend a stamping day with other demonstrators at a private event.
AND - there is a SWAP!
Want to see what I made? When doing 60 swaps (needed 51 for the organized swap and I wanted a few extras), you ALWAYS want to do ASSEMBLY LINE!
Remember - SPA - Stamp - Punch - Assemble! This is not mine. I heard it from Shellie Gardner at a Convention YEARS ago!
First, STAMP - stamping is ALWAYS first step when actually making the card.

And my new Stamparatus makes it SO much easier! |
Second, PUNCH - nowadays, punching means everything in between the actual stamping and the assembly. So punching, diecutting, ribbons, embellishments, all of those.

I so miss our stapler. This little mini stapler and mini staples just aren't as crafting friendly. I knotted 60 of those Crushed Curry Chevron ribbons! Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper for the hearts and Silver Mini Sequins too! |
And finally, ASSEMBLE - the assembly is always the last step. I did my coloring using my Aqua Painters before I assembled on the card. AND I let them dry overnight too. Colors used are Cherry Cobbler, Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry (my favorite - NOT!), Night of Navy, and Elegant Eggplant. While not actually ROYGBIV (Red-Orange-Yellow-Green-Blue-Indigo-Violet), it's close, right? :)

The final project! |
Hope the crafters enjoy this swap card today. I'll be showing this card, and maybe a few others on my weekly Facebook Live on Sunday, April 8th at 7pm. Hope you can tune in!
